There is so much money to be made on YouTube. There are lots of people making it. Then there are others who are struggling to make it. I have a few success stories up my sleeve that I would like to share.
My success story is from my blogs. Adsense and WordPress are good way to monetize if you are doing the right thing. So I decided to use some of those ways that I started and apply it for YouTube and it seems to be working. So I am passing it on. Although monetizing with YouTube is harder. It can be done if you are consistent.
Follow up with me and subscribe to my channel, my podcast and my blog, I will do everything in my power to help anyone who needs help. Even one on one basis. I will describe most of the questions on videos as everyone who has the same questions can get the answers.
Join my Facebook group “Monetize YouTube”. This is a joint effort get you help from the group members and me who may be a subject expert.
Now that we have spoken about getting free help let’s talk about how to get there. None of these things are going to cost you and every one involved is like minded as you. This eventually is going to be a self sufficient system where anybody who wants to succeed can.
Start making videos small and big. You are taking videos all the time for Facebook anyway. Get a gmail account and post videos on YouTube. You don’t have to be an expert. You will self teach yourself from mistakes.
When you have videos share them with friends and family. My experience is that they won’t help you much. But it is the beginning of growing pains. Then on YouTube make live videos of the subject you like. It could be cooking, dancing, gardening or anything you are into.
You cannot make Live videos on your cellphone. Do it on your computer. You may have a hard time connecting to live stream as you are not popular on YouTube. You can download live streaming open source programs to do that. They are free.
This may give you a couple of subscribers. But if your subject matter is interesting you will grow a big ordinance. Encourage them to subscribe.
Make a blog and insert your video links. This is going give you more hours of people watching your videos. Remember the goal at the time of writing this is that you need 1000 subscribers and 4000 watched hours for your videos in a year to monetize.
Create a hashtag. That is yours and use it every time you post something on Twitter, Facebook, TikTok or on other social media. This becomes you brand and that’s how people are going to remember you. I have #travelideasusa and #monetizeyoutube.
Make videos and live videos regularly. This way you are creating excitement in people to watch your videos. Be consistent. When you have tried these methods you are going to see traffic. Learn from what brought you ten watcher’s or a hundred. Make adjustments from that. Those analytics is what YouTube is watching just like you. You get excited.
The most important of all is “create a short” This is like Vlogging. You are making 15second videos. Do them every time you see something you say wow to. It is posted instantly. Describe it well. Be passionate about it with the description. People like that. Include your hashtag.
Now see what happens to your Analytics on YouTube. Now use self learning method to which type of video made good numbers. Let me show you what happened to me in one day and it can happen to you.
